The principle of green financing refers to direct available surplus to the protection and improvement of the environment and this can be achieved through green banks (Green Banking, also called ethical banking), which aim to support environmental issues through green products and services offered to customers.

The green banking model is designed to finance, environmentfriendly economy, but performance, cost-effectiveness, and other environment factors surrounding the green banks make their objectives hard to reach.

This research paper focuses on the analysis of the green banks experience (with reference to some specific experiences) and the difficulties faced by the model
