Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to clarify the concept of agency contract in investment and to show its legitimacy in Islamic jurisprudence.

The researchers discussed international Murabaha and its legal status, then concluded the discussion with a jurisprudential explanation of the agency process in investing in international Murabaha.

After elucidating the concept of agency contract in investing in international Murabaha, the researchers concluded that it is permissible in Islam.

Agency contract is an authorization given to a bank client to buy goods and metals from the international market provided that the profits go to the authorizer.

The agent is entitled to the agency fees or the amount exceeding the agreed profit provided that the agent and the authorizer do not collude in a way that the latter buys from the former the commodity for himself on credit.
