Abstract EN

The objective of the research was investigate the effectiveness of to teaching in critical thinking and problem solving in achieving the cognitive and skill objectives of the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Najran.

The study sample consisted of (99) students, randomly distributed to the two groups; the experimental consisted of (49) students the officer consisted of (50) female students.

The researchers used the semi-experimental method, and for the purposes of the study was prepared a measure of critical thinking skills and problem solving, which consists of (49) paragraphs, distributed on nine axes for the goals of knowledge and skill, and has enjoyed this measure of honesty and accepted stability parameters, Before and after me.

The results showed that the level of achievement of the cognitive and skill objectives of the syllabus of the University of Najran achieved a remarkable increase in achievement.

The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences among the members of the study sample on the level of achievement of the cognitive and skill objectives of the courses.

The study found a statistical significance for the experimental group on the scale of critical thinking skills and problem solving.

Finally, the study presented a set of recommendations that could contribute to the improvement of the teaching method of critical thinking and problem solving at the University of Najran.
