Shiranish Formation Rocks have particular Petrology 50 that early and subsequent Diagenesis incidents play major role in determining the resrvoir properties and lithofacies characteristics, thus determine its oil capabilities and methods of production stages of their reservoir ranges.
Dolomitization incidents constitute the most important of these incidents were formed during two phases.
The first in the early stages of Diagenesis phenomenon.
This dolomite is soft crystals scattered within Micrite floor, these dolomitization did not increase the resevoir ability of the rock.
The second type were formed in the late stages.
This dolomite consist of coarse dolomite crystallization.
It seems that they were formed in accordance with the mechanisms of burial and confusion has contributed to this type by lifting the values of permeability and porosity of the rock.
The chemical compaction played stacking a large role in determining the reservoir staking ability of the rocks which is represented by the phenomenon of Stylolites were three types discriminatey, including: rectangle Stylolites is characterized by its ability to pass and facilitate the movement of hydrocarbons through it because of the large capacity, while others, Wavy Stylolites and horsetail Stylolites appeared in the form of complex Veins and obstacles to the movement of fluids of hydrocarbons, especially the vertical direction.
Also appeared on the grain boundaries the so-called berry Microstylolites Structure which also contributed to the reduction in the reservoir stacking ability of the rock.
The compaction mechanic has contributed to the overall reduction in the stacking energy of the reservoir rocks.
Cementation incident appeared within sediments where multiple types generally played a negative role, and led to the lose of the value of its petrophysical properties by reducing the intergrain porosity.
The studies have shown the presence of several other Diagenesis incidents less important and has no effect on the characteristics of the Shiranish sediments like pyritic, Phosphorylation, micretisation and silisification
