Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to analyze the reality of electronic banking in Algeria and clarify the role of the state in the development of services and the mechanism of action of the banks during the recent years.

In an effort to keep abreast of developments in this field, and keep pace with global progress ranging from infrastructure systems online networks down to the finest banking systems and provide better customer services, and the ability to compete in the market.

But the contrast Algeria, despite the efforts made are still suffering from very slow in the process of transition to electronic banking.

From this perspective we will focus at this study to the theoretical aspects of electronic banking, and the application of the reality and prospects of electronic payment systems in Algeria.
