Abstract EN

The research was carried out to investigate the effect of in ovo injection with different concentrations of carnitine on some productive, hematological traits and the immune response of broiler.

A total of 360 one day old broiler chicks were used in the study ,those were produced from eggs injected with 0.5 ml/egg with 1،2 and 3% Carnitine solution respectively, chicks were randomly distributed in to 5 equal treatments , each treatment included 72 chicks with two replicates .

Treatment T1 included chicks that were produced from eggs without injection (Negative control).

Chicks in T3,T4 and T5 were produced from eggs injected with 0.5ml/egg of normal saline (posative control) .T3,T4 and T5 were produced from eggs injected by 0.5 ml normal saline with 1,2 and 3% carnitine solution respectively.

Results revealed an improvement in live body weights, weight gains and feed conversion ratio of broilers injected with carnitine 2 and 3% .Moreover it was indicated that there was a significant improvement of H/L and the immune response against Newcastle disease in broiler chickens at 35 day of age.
