Abstract EN

This research paper aims at distinguishing the impact of the exchange rate variation on the trade balance and its means of remedy based on flexibility method and absorption method.

Added to that, we will investigate these methods efficiency to treat deficiencies in payments balance, especially trade balance to the exclusion of other elements.

This study carried out also the assessment of the extent of these methods efficiency and remediation to their deficiencies in the case of developing countries regarding characteristics of each country and the degree of their currencies stability against other currencies.
