Abstract EN

This study examines the poetic narrative allure in IzzALdeen Al-Manasrah poems from a linguistic perspective, mainly in his two poems "The Glow of Kanaan" and "Jafra" which serve as a model to apply theoretical linguistic mechanisms on them.

The study tested the extent of that poetic narrative appeal through certain linguistic techniques, as the form and its relation to language, its structure, its denotation and the linguistic processes, such asstructural inversion and linguistic metaphors.
