Abstract EN

Our study is based on Correlational research between coping strategies and the level of parental stress experienced by autistic child’s mother, where we used two scales the first one represented by the (CISS) questionnaire developed by Endler and Parker and the second one represented by parental stress scale (PSS) developed by Berry and Jones, on a sample of 128 Mothers having autistic childs.

After statistical treatment, we reached the following results: - There was no statistically significant relationship between stress level and coping strategies experienced by autistic child's mother.

- There is a statistically significant relationship between level of stress and problem solving strategy experienced by autistic child's mother.

- There is a statistically significant relationship between the level of stress and the concentration strategy on emotion experienced by autistic child's mother.

- There was no statistically significant relationship between the level stress level and avoidance strategy experienced by autistic child's mother.

- There were no statistically significant differences in the level of stress attributed to the age factor of autistic child’s mother.

- There were no statistically significant differences in coping strategies attributed to the age factor of autistic child’s mother.

- There were no statistically significant differences in the level of stress attributed to the level of study of autistic child’s mother.

- There were no statistically significant differences in the coping strategies attributed to the level of study of autistic child’s mother.
