Abstract EN

The study aimed to develop "Geometric Transformations" Unit in the Light of Contemporary Trends for Developing Geometric Thinking for Preparatory Stage Students.

Geometric transformations unit was prepared in the Light of bases which were inducted from Contemporary Trends for developing of the math curriculum and preparing geometric thinking , its stability coefficient was 0, 92.

The Study Sample consisted of (40) students of the first grade preparatory school students – In Albehera government, by using the experimental method of one group with pre- and posttest of skills, and the collected data were analyzed by applying the appropriate statistics methods, and then the most important results were: 1.

There are statistically significant differences at the level (, 01) between the average scores of the experimental group in the pre and post application on geometric thinking scale and its different skills , in favor of the post application.

Teaching the developed geometric transformations unit is more effectiveness for developing geometric thinking among the first grade preparatory school students.

There is a high educational impact of teaching the developed geometric transformations unit on the developing Geometric Thinking among the first grade preparatory school students.

The researcher recommended the necessity of developing anther Geometric topics for all grades such as topics connected with "Analytical, vector and differential …..etc." geometry in the Light of Contemporary Trends.
