The study aimed to follow the practices of science teachers with students in light of Kolb's Developed Model, in dealing with the students' participation, dealing with the interpretation and understanding, and science teachers teaching practices in light of the model, as seen by teachers.
The study followed the descriptive survey, and the questionnaire was used.
The community and the sample of the study are all middle school science teachers in the Directorate of Education in Dawadmi, Saudi.
The study conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2005/2006, and the researchers got (60) valid questionnaires out of (67) were sent.
The most important findings of the study: The study sample strongly agreed on the axis of science teachers practices with students participation, and the most important practices, respectively, are the following: Taking into account individual differences among students, engage students in discussion and to encourage them, and to identify the points of view of students and respect it.
Also the most important findings of the study in the axis of the interpretation and understanding that the sample strongly agreed on their practices, and they also strongly agreed on the axis of their teaching practices in light of Kolb's Developed Model.
The most important recommendations: conducting studies to follow the application of those convictions, training science teachers to teach using Kolb's Developed Model approach, during service and pre-service, and to take advantage of the role of learning in the model in lesson planning, organizing stages of lesson activities and diversity goals.
