Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying the reflections towards opinions of twitter's influentials on the Saudi university youth's direction towards some of the social issues, as it is seen by the students of the social science college at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University.

The study used descriptive screening methodology using a survey on a sample of students in the educational sector.

The number of students reached 345 students that were picked through a randomised layering method to specify their reflections towards the opinions of twitter influentials in regards to social issues and the effects it will take on their behaviour towards social issues.

The study showed that most of the university youth's were in agreement towards their topics methods of dealing with social issues.

Twitter influentials gave particular attention to 2 social issues.

The first was the drug issue and the second is wreckless driving.

The results also showed with statistical evidence that there is a difference between the means of results of the study sample that depend on 3 parameters (education level, twitter usage hours per day, twitter influentials).

However, there is no statistical evidence that there is a difference between sample means based on different methods of using twitter are significant.
