The present study aims to identify the effectiveness of the training program for the development of some cognitive processes among primary school students with learning difficulties mathematics to improve the working memory performance and learning of mathematics at the primary school pupils.
The study sample consisted of 14 pupils from students fourth grade in Qena (Sidi Omar Primary School) and (Mansheya Primary School) who suffer from learning difficulties in mathematics and that based on the results of test diagnose learning difficulties in mathematics (Prepared by: Fathi al-Zayyat 0.2006), and test -account for Wexler (seventh edition, 1999) has been divided into two groups: an experimental group of (7) pupils with learning difficulties in mathematics and have been subjected to the training program, and a control group comprising (7) pupils with learning difficulties in mathematics were not exposed to the training program.
The study results indicated that the effectiveness of the training program to improve Working Memory performance and Arithemtic performance with the experimental sample pupils.
As well as the experimental group surpassed the control group in the amount of improvement in the tests of (arithmetic performance - Academic Achievement in Mathematics- Working Memory).
After exposure the first group of the training program.
