The study tackles the AKP's policy towards the Gaza Strip (2009- 2017).
Turkey has played a significant and fundamental role in the Middle East, especially with the arrival of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) since 2002.
Its stance against Israeli aggression and crimes towards the Palestinian people pushed the Turkish politicians to take critical positions toward Israeli policies that are widely welcomed in the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic communities, and perceived that the siege of Gaza is illegal and immoral.
