Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the relationship between Moral Intelligence and Self-Esteem among students from Al Ain University of Science and Technology and the relationship between moral intelligence and achievement motivation.

The researcher used three scales to collect data: moral intelligence scale, self-esteem scale and the motivation for achievement scale.

The study sample consisted of 300 students from Al Ain University.

The results showed that there was a moderate degree at the level of moral intelligence among students and that there was a statistically signifcant relationship between moral intelligence on the one hand, and self-esteem and motivation for achievement on the other.

The results also showed that there were statistically signifcant differences in moral intelligence, self-esteem and motivation for achievement due to academic level in favor of third-year students, and that there were no statistically signifcant differences due to gender variable.

The study recommended giving more attention to enhancing students’ moral intelligence and fostering their efforts to deal with the problems they face.
