The greatest challenge facing human rights in what concerns criminal justice is the ability to balance between freedom and security, and which one of this two must be taken in considerations before the other.

among the challenges facingthe individuals’s rights and freedoms are the existence of new criminal patterns such as organized crime, money-laundering and transnational crimes, these paterns produces a different law procedures from a country to another.

respecting human rights and fundamental freedoms in today's world might be one of the most important standards in democratic countries.

in other words, a country that respects these rights and guarantees them is the most modern and developed one, especially after the individual has been considered a person of public international law.
