Abstract EN

This paper deals with future concern of one of the groups of patients; mainly diabetics, whose future concern is a fundamental problem for them, because of the negative effects on their personalities, psychological and social consensus on the one hand, and affect their daily activities on the other.

The current study aimed at measuring the level of future anxiety in diabetics in Ghardaia province - a city in the south of Algeria - and looking for differences in the level of anxiety of the future according to some variables, namely: the sex of the patients, their social status, and their professional status.

The study has found that there was a mean level of future anxiety in diabetics.

There were also statistically significant differences in the level of anxiety of the future in diabetics attributed to sex in favor of females, while there are no statistically significant differences due to social status and professional status.
