Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the health sector employees attitudes towards mental illness and the mentally ill in related with some varriables:educational level,work foundation, contact with mentally ill,years of experience, occupation,and gender.it was conducted on a sample of 82 men and women employees in the health sector of laghouat city.

the results showed that (95.12%) from the employees showed positive attitudes towerds mental illness and the mentally ill, and there were no statistical significant differnces in employees attitudes due to previous variables except work foundation variable where showed results that there is statistical significant differences in employees attitudes towerds mental illness and the mentally ill in favor of employees of intermediate center of mental health of laghouat.
