Abstract EN

The aim of this article is to display the importance of el waqf in helping orphan in the normal development after losing the father who used to care about him.

Through the different functions el waqf accomplishes, it allows to the orphan to fulfill all needs necessary for life, and supports him through protection, guidance, and care given to him.

So, we try to display that the different functions of el waqf cover many important needs of humain life and reinforce natural processes of development.

El waqf also can be seen as a social essay to restore the symbolic image of the dead father through ensuring functions used to be fulfilled by the father.

Restoring symbolic image of the father among orphan helps him internalising the concept of law necessary for humain life.
