Abstract EN

Algerien youth between fragility of psychological construction and citizenship’s challenges.

The aim of this communication is to indicate the importance of youth in the process of development in all nations.

For this raison we have to take care of them to prepare all conditions that enable them to take profit from all possibilities society provide, and develop to the peak their abilities and talents.

This is what makes a real change and sustainable development.

We use generally the concept of citizenship to determine the relationship between youth(individuel) and community on the basis of rights and duties.

Frompsychological point of view, we prefer the concept of adulthood which means psychological maturity.

In Algeria, in spite of considerable efforts done by the community to the benefit of youth, fruits still under projected objectives.

When psychological construction is fragile, this may lead to different forms of troubles and threatens the sense of citizenship: toxicomania, unemployment, violence, corruption are signs which reflect that the process of individuation is weak and that sense of citizenship faces difficulties.

Through controlable signs by using the technique of observation, the author tries to display that the sense of citizenship faces different dangers if the society doesn’t make the necessary tools to avoid such threats.

On the other hand, it is the role of society to preserve youth on which depends its progress.
