This paper aims to address the relationship between religion and science in the light of the Qur'an .Therefore, the analytical is adopted .The topic is discussed in the context of the multiple positions towards the relationship between religion and science ,which were the product of western paradigm of knowledge .The latter caused reductionism and chaos .Thus ,the paper recalls Qur'an to be of central importance in knowledge production.
Moreover ,the paper tried to find out the methodological rules that Qur'an provides to establish the relationship of religion and science .Finally ,this paper found reached a result which is the importance of overarching the present reductionist position which is caused by the imitation of the western paradigm of knowledge .Accordingly ,we need to focus on the integration and overlap between religion and science ,as portrayed by the Qur'an.
