The notion of wisdom in the Quran has occurred nineteen times where knowledge occurs in all the verses except in two places that occurs out of denial as it occurs in seven verses, and it collocates with the book in ten verses.

The word wisdom means prevention and perfection.

Wisdom is a universal notion for every word or knowledge that takes into account people's situation and their belief.

Wisdom occurs in the Qur'an in the sense of the Sunnah in nine places: Surat Al-Baqarah, verses (129, 151, 231), Surat and Aal Imran, verses 48, 81, 164, and Surat Al-Nisaa', verses 113, 34, and Surat Friday, verse 2.

Wisdom also occurs in the Qur'an in the sense of prophecy in four places: Surat Al-Baqarah, verse 251, Surat Al-Nisaa', verse 54, Surat Saad, verse 20, and Surat Al-Zukhruf, verse 63.

Wisdom also occurs in the Quran meaning (the Qur'an) in two places: Surat Al-Nahl, verse 125, and Surat Al-Qamar, verse 5.

Wisdom occurs in the Qur'an in the sense of understanding in three places: Al-Baqarah, verse 269, Surat Al-Ma'idah, verse 110), and Surat Luqman, verse 12.

Wisdom also occurs in the Quran in the sense of (the wise word which has no corruption): Surat Al-Israa', verse 39.
