Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to assess the recent decisions and policies taken by Algerian government to see their compatibility with the pursuit of economic diversify.

This economic policy based on the reduction of public spending and diversification through investing in sectors outside fuels, to build a strong national economy.

The study found that the economic diversification process affected five categories which must taken into account such as physical factors : investment and human capital ; public policies: financial, trade and industrial policies; Macroeconomic variables، institutional variables: governance، investment environment and the security situation ; access to markets، and access to finance.
