Abstract EN
The aim of the study was to evaluate the experience of Umm Al Qura University in the use of e-learning management system (Blackboard) from the point of view of the faculty members.
The goals of the study were defined in two objectives.
In the detection of obstacles encountered in the use of the system (Blackboard).
The results of the study were descriptive and the final sample was composed of (40) faculty members.
The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect the data needed to answer the study questions.
The results of the overall mean of the use patterns were: (average sample direction with mean 3.02 and standard deviation 1.43 and 60.0% , while the results of the overall mean average of the obstacles: the mean of the sample was medium with a mean of 0.38 and a standard deviation of 1.38 and 67.6%.
The study recommended encouraging faculty members to use and use (Blackboard) in the educational and research process in Saudi universities by embedding them into the calendar entries and training courses, and the need to avoid obstacles disease.
