This study deals with the relationship of innovation and originality on the part of the personnel of the health system with competitive advantage in Saudi health institutions.
the problem of the study is that the administration of the Saudi private health institutions pays but little attention to the elements of innovative activities of the workers therein which are central to achieving competitive advantage.
the study aims at being acquainted with the reality of innovation and originality of the personnel; the competitive advantage in the private Saudi institutions; analyzing the issue of innovation and originality of the personnel therein; recognizing the obstacles in the way, and the possibility of applying it in the Saudi health environment.
the study sample included (100) individuals working in these institutions, and was the questionnaire is a means of data collection and consisted of (64) a paragraph that, and the study found a number of results was the most important: the existence of proportional link between the elements of creativity combined competitive advantage health institutions city Riyadh, reaching simple correlation coefficient values (0.73), as well as the results of the assessment showed a proportional correlation between innovation elements combined competitive advantage health institutions own in Riyadh, reaching values of simple correlation coefficient (0.81), as the results of the assessment showed a proportional link between the elements creativity and innovation combined competitive advantage health institutions own in Riyadh, reaching simple correlation coefficient values (0.78), in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (5%) between the responses of the study sample on the independent variables according to (the qualification, and function, academic and specialization.
