Abstract EN

This research study seeks to know the provision of a type of modern marriage contracts which is the one conducted via the internet.

This marriage contract is held in a legal council where the couple being married and witnesses are absent.

This case has pushed Islamic law (Sharia) scholars to differ among themselves concluding two provisions of this kind of marriage.

Some scholars permit it whereas others do not.

We shall outweigh the first provision with some conditions and controls.
