Abstract EN

The study aimed to identity the psychological and social needs that the prophet's discourse directed for children by answering the following questions: What are the styles contained in the speech of the prophet to prompt children? What are the psychological and social needs included in the prophetic speech directed to children? The researcher prepared a special tool for psychological and social needs that is appropriate for children and has been verified.

The tool consisted of fifteen needed and the researcher adopted analytical method to analyze the data depending on the whole sentence that has the same meaning as the unit of analysis and its stability.

Results were obtained by counting the frequencies and percentages as well Moreover, experimental results show that the speech of the prophet included all the psychological and social needs but in varying degrees.

The need to love was in the first among these needs with 25 frequencies (13.5%), followed by the need to need for religion and faith with 7% followed by the rest or the needs.

The results also showed the diversity of methods of discourse of the prophet and the style of short speech earned the highest proportion with 19.8% followed by the style of simplicity with l8%, and the style of direct speech with 12.6%, and the style of appeal with 9.1% and the style of humor and the style of investment attitudes were the same with proportion of 8.1% followed by the rest of the tactics.

In the light of these findings, recommendations for practice and research are also provided.
