Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational respect and loneliness in the workplace in the Morjan Medical City in Iraq.

In order to achieve its objectives the researchers distributed 147 questionnaires on a random sample of employees at the Morjan Medical City; whereas only 138 questionnaires were retrieved; out of which 132 questionnaires were valid for statistical analysis resulting into a response rate of 95%.

The theoretical results show the existence of a knowledge gap in explaining the nature of the relationship between organizational respect and loneliness in the workplace, in organizations generally and in the researched organization specifically.

Alternatively, the practical results show the existence of a significant and negative correlation between organizational respect and loneliness in the workplace.

Moreover, they show the existence of a significant and negative effect of organizational respect on loneliness in the workplace.

The study most important recommendations call for encouraging the employees at Morjan Medical City to have diversified cultural trait; besides utilization of internal environment and joint field work techniques to achieve the objectives of the Medical City.
