Abstract EN
This research aims at identifying the parental treatment and its relation to Mastery Motivation and Learning Styles among The Students of the department of Psychology at the college of Education in Sudan university of Science and Technology.
The researcher used the correlation method .
The research sample was composed of (50) males and females Students in second, third, and fourth grades of the department of Psychology chosen randomly in 2016.
The research tools were three questionnaires , Parental Treatment scale prepaed by the Alatia (2009), and Mastery Motivation and Learning Styles prepared by the researcher.
The data was processed by the (SPSS) program, using one sample (t) test, and (t) test for two independent means, Alfa Coronbach, Spearman Brown correlation, and Friedman test.
Important results were: Parental treatment was highly revealed among the Students of the department of Psychology .There is correlation between Parental treatment and Mastery Motivation among the Students the department of Psychology.
There is no correlation between Parental treatment and Learning Styles (profound-superficial) learning ,among the Students of the of department of Psychology.
There was a significant difference among The Students of the of department of Psychology according to Learning Styles (profound-superficial) for males.
There was a significant difference among The scale of parental treatment .On the basis of these results the researcher reached recommendations important of which is that counseling centers must be established to develop scientific correct relationship with the Students and their parents in consistent with the self- confidence and increase their Mastery Motivation.
