This study aimed to identify the extent to which the content of the technical education basics curriculum for the seventh grade of the basic education stage in Sudan has achieved the objectives of the global technical literacy, the analytical the researcher used the descriptive method, in order to achieve the goals of the study.

The researcher designed a card to analyze the content of the standard goals of technical literacy which were set in five main areas that include: (18) subfields and (51) goals, the study card was implemented on the study population and sample which was the textbook of technical education basics for the seventh grade of the basic stage.

and in order to data was processed statistically through descriptive statistics which include the frequencies and percentages.

The study findings concluded that the percentage of meeting the goals of technical literacy according to the used analytic tool of this study in general was (78,41%) which is estimated as a high, but at the level of main five areas of this tool and respectively, the area of technology and society came at the first place with a percentage of (90,9%), and the area of technical systems came in second place with a percentage of (88,87%), and the area of nature of technology came in third place with a percentage of (71,42%), while the area of the capacity of the technology scientist came in the fourth place with a percentage of (66,6%), and the area of field of designing came in fifth place with a percentage of (55,5%).

This study recommended the necessity of benefiting from studies and researches outcomes which addressed the issue of technical literacy, and acquaintance of Arabic and international technology experiences and applications, and delivering the training courses and vocational rehabilitation workshops for the education technology teachers.
