Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to know the effectiveness of the public relations in the Sudanese police and the Qatari police.

what is the contribution that is being made to strengthen the police relationship with the public, which receives various services provided by the police through its various windows, whether security services such as awareness campaigns that contribute to stability and internal security or other services such as license, card, national number, customs, etc.

the appropriate solutions to the problem of this study are the lack of bridges of communication between the public and the police officer, because of the importance of the role played by the police in performing their duties professionally and impartially.

the researcher chose the descriptive approach to identify and describe the situation and then proceed to address it and describe it.

this questionnaire was used to collect this information, which is the appropriate means to achieve this and reach the following main results : 1 / the general impression of the respondents from the general directorate of media and relations with the police and police in Qatar was positive, the degree of satisfaction for the respondents was 80.69%.2 / most respondents agree that the training courses qualify the police officers to perform their duties and achieve the objectives of the strategic plan by 84.48%.3 / most respondents strongly agree that there is an assessment and measurement of strategic plans and programs in the department of media and public relations of the police by 77.45%.4/ the majority of respondents strongly agree that strategic planning has a direct and positive impact on the issues of national security in the public administration of media and public relations by 79.55%.

key recommendations: 1 / establishment of internal and external training courses for public relations officers of the police.

2 / provision of money necessary for the work of public relations police.

3 / interested in the plan of public relations and work according to the mandate and action of appropriate measures.

4 / keep abreast of what is going on in the world of developments in the work of public relations devices and aids and others.
