Abstract EN

This study aimed at clarifying the role that can be played by the using Benchmarking Approach in reducing costs of banking services and supporting its competitiveness advantage: A field study on branches of banks working in Elnuhud city-Sudan.

The study tested four hypotheses which were: Using of benchmarking approach can reduce the costs of banking services.

There is an urgent need to use the benchmarking in the banks.

Using of benchmarking approach in banks increases its competitiveness, there are many constraints limiting the efficiency of using benchmarking approach in banks.

To test this, the researcher distributed (35) questionnaires among all workers in bank branches working in the area study, using SPSS to analyze the collected data, some findings are: There is an urgent need to use benchmarking approach in banks branches working in Elnuhud.
