Abstract EN

The health culture is a social process that aims to provide the society members advice and communication in order to invest their motivation and provide them with necessary skills and knowledge to get normal health behaviours, and thus to raise the health level and get prevention from deseases ,or reduce as much as possible their complications.

And the man as a social human being acquires his habits and does not inherit them, and the health is an outcome of factors among them health habits which are the most important factors, in addition to genetic and environmental factors where the man lives in.

So health culturing is a society directing process to protect itself from epidemics and infectious deseases and its environmental problems.In this context, audio and visual medias play a basic role in guiding individuals and groups behaviour ,and raising their awareness and health culture ,considering them as social media, in order to improve the social life conditions and educate man the correct behaviours that ensure him a good life and good conditions free from diseases and epidemics.

The local radio is considered as one of the most important cultural and educational media means that have a great responsibility to address the local environment people with what suit their privacy culture in order to get a perfect communication and achieve the goal of developing the health culture of the society.
