Abstract EN
Since the 90s, Algeria has had several experiences in the field of e-learning whether in professional training or higher education, and even the private sector has seen initiatives with tutoring courses to students.
Most of these projects failed because the socio-economic environment was not favorable for this type of project.
In recent years, several institutions of higher education in Algeria have rushed to reintegrate this type of education at the university, especially since all conditions have become favorable to the adoption of e-learning.
For this, we analyzed the important experience of Constantine2 University, one of the largest universities in Algeria.
The fundamental question of our problematic was what is the reality and prospects of the project of digital education at the university of Constantine 2 Abdel Hamid Mehri? To answer this question, we adopted the descriptive analytical approach by using the SWOT analysis.
The most important result of the study is that the project has been successful, but the content is loaded with some imbalances that we will present in this article.
