Abstract EN

The educational dictionary is one of the most important educational tools, which is necessary to conduct the learner to a better understanding of the meaning according to his linguistic level and abilities as well as his cognitive level.

That’s why, during the process of producing an electronic lexicon (as well as the paper one), it is highly important to select qualitatively the inputs so as to commensurate with the levels of education in which the learner walks through his academic career.

while the dictionary aimed at the child of the primary stage in developed countries goes beyond reading to an interactive digital stage in which learners can participate in and interact with, in the light of the scientific and technological development, the Arabic digital lexicon is still in its infancy, although the Arabic paper lexicon content have preceded since a long time ago.

From this point of view, this study aims to analyze the Arabic lexicographic content that targets the category of primary stage learners.
