Abstract EN

The purpose study was aimed to present an analytical perusal in the evolution of the budget deficits in Algeria during the period of 2000-2016, which contain a Statement of the most important factors increasing the deficit and its various financing methods.

We have reached that, even though the budgets deficit exacerbate in recent years, but it is still arithmetic, according to the cautious policy pursued by Algerian authority in the management of from its petroleum resources’ revenues through a mechanism of adjusting resources fund.

We've found that about 70% (average period during 2006 to 2016) of budget deficit’s financing has covered bythe previous fund.

Under the decline of other financing sources (banking and non-banking financing andborrowing).

All this as challenge in front of Algeria, which needs tosustainedits budget financing, through the rationalization of the public expenditure, and by searching for the alternative sources of financing without oil revenues, Especially as the budget deficit will become a real in 2019, with the same situation, this is what leads to the possibility of internal and external borrowing to finance.
