Abstract EN

This article is meant to study a theory about the Bedouin society as seen by Ibn khaldoun and the role it plays in the emergence « lassabia » of tribal sectarianism as a social and political phenomenon .we shall according by explain haw Ibn khaldoun was the first to speak about the Sociologiy of the Bedouin which is considered as one of the branches of general sociology.

It is interested in the study of the Bedouin societies phenomenon.

Ibn khaldoun considers that the Bedouin society and tribalism in particular are the main criterion for the emergence of sectarianism .

his texts in “Al-Mukhadima” are indicative of such an approach.

He says:”the Bedouin hause (home) is only for the tribes, people of sectarianism “.In aur study, we try to analyse the texts in which he tackles this phenomenon and its relation with the Bedouin life.

Therefore, this article aims at shedding light on Ibn khaldoun’s approach this is done through analyzing texts in “Mukadima Ibn khaldoun “which enrich theoretical scientific study in relation with Bedouin Sociologiy.

Moreover, all those who are interested in Ibn khaldoun in particular and Bedouin sociology in general have the opportunity to understand how Bedouin and sectarianism along with tribalism are interrelated and complementary.
