The financial relations between the spouses have been at the center of many divine laws and domestic and international laws because of their importance in the preservation of the conjugal bond.

Judicial practices have shown that most marital problems are of financial origin.

In this study, we will try to examine the principle of independence of the wife's patrimony in Algerian legislation in order to shed light on international and domestic legal mechanisms that protect the principle of independence from the financial responsibility of the wife as part of the marriage contract, which combines moral and material matters
