Abstract EN

As they are so important, numbers are usually the first words that a child acquires before entering school, and are the first words that a student learns when he studies a new language.

Studying the topic of the number in both Arabic and Kurdish languages we found in each one of them what we did not find in other.

The researchers analyzed this in four linguistic levels, as in case of writing the numbers (100) and (8) in Arabic.

They explained the rare phonological pheromone of the shift of the (ya) sound or the (nun) sound in number (8), as well as the modifications of the (shen) sound in number (10) and how it differs if the number describes a masculine or a feminine noun.

Whereas in Kurdish we dealt with the phonological and phonemic aspects in its dialects and we described in what manner the sounds of the numbers change or increase or decrease.
