AbstractThis research (in the study of design treatments in contemporary European ceramic), which is located in four chapters, The first chapter deals with the method framework of the research, which is the problem of the research that dealt with the shedding light on the design treatments in contemporary European ceramics.
The first chapter contains the research objective of identifying Design treatments in contemporary European ceramic.
The limits of research have been identified in the current study ceramic works that contain a design structure.
The second chapter included the theoretical framework which included two studies, previous studies and the most important indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework.
The first topic dealt with the artistic design in the arts, the design elements and the design bases.
The second topic included contemparary European ceramics .
The third chapter included the research procedures that included the research community and its sample, the research method, the research tool, and the analysis of the five research samples.
The fourth chapter contains the results of the research and its conclusions, and the researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which 1-The design treatments in contemporary European ceramics were adopted to modify and reorganize the engineering designs according to strategies that achieve aesthetic and artistic values as in the sample models (1, 3, 4)2-The European potter adopted the organization of the modular units of the general design by addressing them technically and aesthetically to reach the basic idea associated with the subject as in the sample samples (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).The research presented a number of conclusions, the most important of which are:1.The European potter adopted the self-vision in the treatment of ceramic designs according to the nature of the subject.2.European ceramic designs were not a simulation or imitation of the contemporary art experiences, but rather, they were learned by experimentation and experimentation.The fourth chapter also included the researcher's recommendations and suggestions as well as the mention of the researcher to prove the sources and supplements and the summary of the research in English.
