Golda Meir held an important ministerial and administrative posts after declaration of (state of Israel), she became a minister plenipotentiary in the Soviet Union in 1949, and then secretary of labor for more seven years, next came her role in foreign policy when she became Secretary of State in the period (1956-1966).

Despite her illness and resignation, she returned to work within a few months as head of the largest labor group known as the Marakh, until she became prime minister in 1969.
