Muwashshah ( it is a poetic from that of a multi-lined strophic verse poem written in classical Arabic usually consisting of five stanzas alternating with a refrain with a ( running rhyme )is a unique literary phenomenon in Arabic literature.

Its uniqueness came from its forms and meaning .

Poets of Muwashsh wanted Muwashsh to be responsive to Social cultural and urban developments of Andalusian era .

Muwashsh was natural birth of the Andalusian spatial and temporal environment .

There were many views about the origin of Muwashsh .Some critics went to say it is non-Arab origin .

Others believe that the Orient was the origin which was created Muwashshsh .

A third team saw that Muwashshsh as the innovation of the people of Andalusia .

This paper will try to study of critical effort that presented py the researchers to dempnstrate that Muwashshsh.
