The objective of this study is to investigate the intensity of the study programs and their impact on the teaching methods and the student’s comprehension in the primary stage, through the following questions: 1.
Does the intensive program affect primary school teaching methods? 2.
Does the intensity of school programs hinder primary school pupils’ comprehension? To answer the questions, two hypotheses were proposed to reach the objectives of the study: 1 - The intensive school program affects teacher’s teaching methods in the primary stage 2.
The intensity of the program hinders primary school pupils’ comprehension.
This has been addressed through the descriptive approach to confirm or reject the two assumptions.
A questionnaire was used for collecting data and information on a sample of 50 primary stage teachers in the municipality of Tadjenant, the state of Mila.
After the analysis and the interpretation, the study came up with the following results: - The intensity of the school programs has been seen as an obstacle to the absorption of the students in the primary stage.
- The intensity of the programs affected the teacher’s teaching methods.
- The teacher adopted other methods to help him complete the program, and to increase students' comprehension rate, including extra hours, prepare the student for the lesson in advance; Excessive rigor, frequent activities inside and outside the classroom
