Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة للتعرف إلى دوافع و استخدامات طلبة المرحلة الثانوية لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي و الحاجات و الإشباعات المتحققة، و مدى استخدامها في تشكيل معارفهم نحو القضايا الوطنية الفلسطينية، و درجة الاستفادة منها، و مستوى الثقة بها، و رصد مدى ما يتمتع به طلبة المرحلة الثانوية من معارف و اطلاع على مختلف القضايا الوطنية، إلى جانب التعرف إلى معوقات استخدام تلك الشبكات و مقترحات استثمارها بشكل أمثل، و تعد الدراسة من الدراسات الوصفية التي استخدمت المنهج المسحي و في إطاره أسلوب مسح جمهور وسائل الإعلام، و اعتمدت الدراسة نظرية الاستخدامات و الإشباعات، و تم جمع بياناتها بأداتي صحيفة الاستقصاء التي تم توزيعها على عينة عشوائية طبقية قوامها ( 381 ) مبحوثا، من مجتمع الدراسة وهم طلبة صفوف المرحلة الثانوية بكافة فروعها في مدارس محافظات غزة، و المقابلة المقتنة.

و خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان من أهمها : 1- تسهم شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل معارف المبحوثين نحو القضايا الوطنية الفلسطينية بدرجة عالية بوزن نسبي 49.6% في حين نسبة اسهامها بدرجة متوسطة جات بوزن نسبي 32.4%.

2- جاءت قضية القدس كأبرز القضايا التي يهتم المبحوثون بزيادة معارفهم بها، حيث جاءت بالمرتبة الأولى بوزن نسبي ،78.8%، تليها قضية الأسرى، ثم الحصار، ثم اللاجئون و العودة، فالمصالحة الوطنية، فالمفاوضات و الاتفاقيات، و في أدنى الاهتمام قضية الاستيطان بوزن نسبي %18.9.

3- جاء متوسط معارف المبحوثين بالقضايا الوطنية الفلسطينية متوسط حيث بلغ الوزن النسبي للمعرفة 57%.

4- وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجة استخدام طلبة المرحلة الثانوية الشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي و بين تشكيل معارفهم نحو القضايا الوطنية الفلسطينية.

و أوصت الدراسة باستثمار الجهات الرسمية خاصة وزارة التربية و التعليم و مدارسها الشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي و تفعيلها كأداة مهمة في عملية التوعية وتشكيل المعارف لدى الطلبة و إنشاء صفحات و قنوات و تطبيقات تعنى بالقضايا الوطنية الفلسطينية تكون تحت اشراف رسمي أو جهات موثوق بها كالوزارات المعنية أو المدارس و الجامعات، إلى جانب توعية و توجيه و إرشاد الطلبة نحو الاستخدام الأمثل لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل معارفهم و تعزيز و عيهم.

English Abstract

The study aims to identify the secondary school students’ motives for and uses of social networking sites, the needs and gratifications achieved, and the extent to which the use of sites shapes their knowledge about the Palestinian national issues.

The study also examines the degree of benefit from these sites and the level of confidence in them and traces the extent to which students in the secondary stage have knowledge about the various national issues, as well as identifying the obstacles facing such use and offering suggestions to how to make best use of these sites.

This descriptive study used the survey methodology through which the method of surveying the media audience was employed.

The study was based on the Uses and Gratifications theory, and data were collected using a questionnaire, which was distributed to a stratified random sample of 381 respondents from the study population who were secondary school students in all branches of Gaza governorates schools and structured interviews.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are the following : 1.

The social networking sites contribute to forming the respondents’ knowledge about the Palestinian national issues to a high degree, with a relative weight of (49.6%), while their contribution to students’ knowledge to a medium degree has a relative weight of (32.4%).

The issue of Jerusalem is the most important issue that the respondents are interested in increasing their knowledge about.

It ranks first with a relative weight of (78.8%), followed by the issue of prisoners, then the issues of the siege, the refugees and the return, the national reconciliation, negotiations and agreements, and last came the issue of settlements with a relative weight of (18.9%).

The respondents’ average knowledge of the Palestinian national issues came at a medium degree with a relative weight of knowledge of (57%).

There is a correlation between the degree of the use of secondary school students of social networking sites and the formation of their knowledge about the Palestinian national issues.

The study recommends that official bodies, especially the Ministry of Education and its schools invest in social networking sites and activate them as an important tool in the process of raising awareness and shaping students' knowledge as well as setting up webpages, channels and applications that deal with the Palestinian national issues under the supervision of official parties or other trusted parties such as pertinent ministries or schools and universities.

Students need to be guided and advised on the optimal use of social networking sites in shaping their knowledge and enhancing their awareness.
