Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the various obstacles and difficulties faced by women in the field of entrepreneurship in small and medium size in Algeria.

The study found that women in Algeria suffer from self-obstacles related to their self-confidence and their ability to cope with the dangers, social obstacles related to the Algerian society's convictions that women are subjected to men, and the difficulty of reconciling between their work at home and work outside the home.

The study also revealed the existence of other problems faced by Algerian women in the field of entrepreneurship, which are related to the organizational and economic aspects such as the lack of legislation and laws that stimulate women's entrepreneurship, financing difficulties and high tax rates
