Abstract EN

The subject of immigration is considered to be one of the old subjects, but a subject which is renewed in its impacts and diversity in its treatment.

Immigration, as history tells us, goes back centuries, however, it witnessed more developments due to colonialism and the need of capitalism to human works.

The waves of immigrants continued during and after ww2, but this time become an issue that needs more organization and rigidity which is related to each country’s policy.

All that led to developing a suitable approach for each and every country.

Among these approaches: integration, segregation, multiculturalism, inter- culturalism, and the politics of in between, known as the American approach.

This letter approach will be the focus of this study and through which an attempt is made to answer the main question of the paper: To what extent this approach achieves both national and human securities and guarantees the rights of the immigrant?
