Abstract EN

This study aimed to define the role of Arab women in the cultural development of Theater Art by locating the foundations of the feminine vision as well as the methodologies which were practiced to create its cultural development.

Therefore the researchers investigated three female practitioners who are: the Algerian artist Sonya, as well as the Palestinian artist Eman Aoun and the Iraqi artist Atta Naeem.

The research focused on their contributions to establish a human oriented cultural development.

Also the research located the impacts of their contributions in the theater applications and practices from 1975 to 2012.

The study used the analytical descriptive method which can be used in the social fields in general and the theater in particular.

This study offers significant knowledge to academicians in the higher education institutes of fine arts, and centers of women studies.
