Abstract EN
Summary: The aim of this study was to evaluate the experience of electronic payment systems in Jordan and to identify their impact on economic growth during the period 2003-2015.
To achieve the objectives of this study, the simple linear regression model was applied to detect the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable.
The study concluded that the electronic payments sector in Jordan is witnessing The electronic payments sector in Jordan is witnessing an evolution in the payment systems and the settlement, either in terms of large payment systems and retail payments systems, or in terms of retail payment tools.
The study also found a statistically significant relationship between the electronic payment systems and economic growth in Jordan during the period 2003-2015.
