In this article we try to study the military strategy adopted by the Algerian revolution during the first stage, which was the guerilla warfare that fit the potential of the revolutionaries and their military capabilities, and we aim to know the reasons for the revolution achieved successes in the battles and clashes in different parts of the country, In its activities and beyond the French military encirclement, and adopted the methodology of historical research in the investigation of various facts and the design of the military strategy, we discussed in the article the nature of the concept of guerrilla warfare, the military activity of the revolution, and the organization of military action and its reflection on The successes achieved by the revolution, we concluded the statement of the importance of the military strategy of the revolution, and the extent of its effectiveness as a pilot experiment in the wars of the revolution, still today to study at a major global military centers and institutes
