This study aims to reveal the beauty of the color green in the poetry of Ibn al-Khatib The research discusses the importance and symbolism of the color green.

It also reveals the beauty of the color in the poetic text, both directly and indirectly, and demonstrates the poet's ability to present the color as a symbol of peace, light, love, generosity, beauty and other symbols which are discussed in the research.

The research concludes that the color green, in the poetic text bears more than one meaning.

For example, green may be a symbol of beauty.

At the same time, the absence of green refers to a lack the beauty and happiness.
